Prior to Smoke Labs, Douglas worked for a variety of smartphone software developers in the Ottawa area.

Simon Sage

Simon’s vertical superiority (he is 6′8″) is matched only by his scrutinous eye and hyperbolic vocabulary. Schooled in language, and tempered in a lifetime of technological immersion, his ongoing service to BlackBerry Cool brings concise information and thoughtful insights to those following the fastest-growing mobile platform out there.

Wes Tam

Wes Tam has worked in the mobile gaming space for 4 + years as a programmer, game designer and producer. He relinquished his duties as Lead Programmer to work full time as a producer and lead designer focused on large scaled Triple-A projects at Magmic Games. Previously, he worked in the R&D group of a 3D Television Animation Startup on procedural animation systems as well as procedural entertainment content on mobile devices. He is also actively engaged with local colleges and universities to promote the video game industry in Ottawa Canada. In addition to maintaining a personal blog on the mobile industry, and working with QuicklyBored, Wes is working on several personal projects for next generation mobile gaming.

Matt Cameron

Matt is our resident video expert. Before working with Smoke Labs, he worked in the mobile games industry for about 2 years. His real creative juices flow when he does his VJ’ing sets for various bars and nightclubs around the city. All in all, he has been cultivating a career as a video artist for about 5 years. He is entirely self-taught and really good at what he does. If you’re ever in the Ottawa area, check out the Mercury Lounge, where he might grace you with his presence.
